Barangay Tanod
Residing in Las Piñas City, he is a 60-year-old village watchman, which Filipinos call as barangay tanod, who was too poor to send his children to school until he won PCSO's Grand Lotto (6/55) jackpot of P356 million with a combination of 05-09-19-26-30-45, which came out on 2 May 2011. The jackpot grew after 43 draws with no winners. He paid P20 for the ticket. He worked as a part-time carpenter to buoy up his income.
His six children all dropped out of school because of poverty. He came from Bicol, and still has his siblings there. He betted on lotto intermittently in the last three years.
